An associate degree program sponsored by West Central Equipment and John Deere that encompasses college education and on the job experience.
Are you ready to put your career in motion? Do you enjoy wrenching on equipment? If so John Deere TECH and West Central Equipment have the opportunity you've been waiting for. John Deere TECH is a 2-year 5-semester course that grooms high school graduates into certified John Deere technicians.
However, John Deere TECH is so much more than just an ordinary diesel program. TECH students go to school on a quarterly basis. This means they spend 8 weeks of a semester taking classes and learning new skills at college and the other 8 weeks of the semester working as a paid intern here at West Central Equipment. This allows the unique opportunity to gain valuable real-world knowledge that can't be taught in the classroom. After completing the course, graduates will receive an associate degree in applied science as well as the certification of a John Deere Technician.
But wait it gets better, upon graduation you will have a guaranteed job with West Central Equipment and each year you stay with us we will reimburse $2,000 of your tuition up to $10,000. What are you waiting for? An opportunity like this doesn’t come around often!
